Barbara Carolyn DeVillier

Barbara Carolyn DeVillier, 83, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Magnolia Manor.
She was born in Orange, Texas on July 20, 1938 to Charles David Travis and Mary Marguerite Frensley Travis.
Barbara was a lifelong area resident and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Twin City Ward.
A graveside service, for immediately family only, will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas with Alan Jackson dedicating the grave.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, James Crindon Echels, husband, John Earl DeVillier, daughter, Brenda Milford, and her brother, Francis Henry Ciccosanti, III.
Barbara is survived by her children, Sue Autry and husband Hector of Spurger, Texas, Terry Thibodeaux and husband Crow of Groves, Texas, John Louis DeVillier of Nashville, Tennessee, Eileen Schell and husband Gordon of Columbia, South Carolina, Donna Garrett and husband Bruce of Coppell, Texas, Sue Ellen Smith and friend John Kilpatrick of Lake Limestone, Texas and Marguerite Weatherall and husband Bill of The Woodlands, Texas, brother-in-laws, Ed Echels and wife Elaine of Toledo Bend, Texas, Charles DeVillier and wife Rosi of El Paso, Texas and Russell DeVillier and wife Beth of Nederland, Texas; grandchildren, Amy Thibodeaux, Michael Thibodeaux, James Thibodeaux, Alex Autry, Kelly Lassiter, Regan Eilhauer, Matthew Garrett, Shey Milford Crowson, Jarret Milford and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family request no floral arrangements. Donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or Habitat for Humanity.
