Billie Jean Barnett, 91, of Port Arthur passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 25, 2021. She was born November 16, 1929 to Willard "Bill" Elvin Fairchild and Mollie Lawrence Fairchild.
She raised three children while maintaining a successful career. Billie worked for Texas Employment Commission as a Claims Supervisor. She retired after 27 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janice Barnett Brodnax; son, Bruce Barnett; brother, Patrick Fairchild.
Survivors include son, Charles Barnett and wife Kathy of Port Arthur, cousin, Mary Elizabeth Perello, close friend, Lisa Davis and grandchildren, Amy Whittington, Sarah Lovecchio and Carrie Barnett.
Arrangements are pending at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
