Bonnie Dell Horn

May 13, 1931 — December 18, 2020

Bonnie Dell Horn, 89, of Port Neches, entered eternal rest on December 18, 2020. She was born May 13, 1931 to Pearl Worsham and J. C. Worsham of Broaddus, Texas.
Bonnie spent her childhood in Buna, TX and graduated from Buna High 1949. She participated in the girl's basketball team. Bonnie went on to complete cosmetology school and worked as a beautician in Silsbee, TX. It was a chance encounter, at the Blue Bonnet cafeteria in Silsbee where Bonnie met William P. Horn. Bonnie and William were married in 1953 and shortly thereafter moved to Port Neches where they made their home.
Bonnie was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Port Neches where she faithfully served and brought her children to learn about Jesus. Bonnie mastered the skill and creativity as a seamstress, by sewing thousands of garments over a span of 4 decades for herself, her children, the church pageant and the community. She also held a job as cafeteria worker at PN Middle School.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, William P. Horn; brothers, Preston Worsham and Velton Worsham.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Aaron O. Horn of Port Neches: daughter, Katrina Harper of Port Neches and son, Howard Horn and his wife, Denise Horn of Nederland; grandchildren, Chris Horn and wife Mylessa, Blake Harper, Kayla Harper, Matt Horn, Justin Horn and Brandon Horn; great grandchild, Isaiah Horn. Sister-in-law, Joann Worsham of Silsbee.
A gathering of Bonnie's family and friends will begin 10:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 1900 Magnolia Ave, Port Neches, TX. Her interment will be 3:00PM at Magnolia Springs Cemetery, FM 1005, Kirbyville TX.
