Brenda Jo Abshire

Brenda Jo Hartzog Abshire, 71, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Baptist Southeast Texas Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
She was owner of Brenda's Drawing Board over 40 years. She loved architecture, interior and landscaping design, and gardening. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Arcen Cormier, Lucian and Nora Hartzog, and her niece Marki Rodriguez all of Nederland.
She is survived by her brothers Wesley Hartzog and wife Olivia of Webster, Marcus Hartzog and wife Candy of Beaumont, nieces Stacy Brown and husband James of Montgomery, Wendy Choate and husband Brian of Fort Worth, Kimberly and Shelli Stanley of Dallas, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She had many close friends and acquaintances, and her beloved pet, Tink.
A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Nathan Cothen officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
