Carolyn Naomia Wright, 80, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on March 3, 2023, at Village Creek Nursing Home in Lumberton.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on October 4, 1942, she was the daughter of Oscar Wehmeyer and Mae Rose (Hebert) Wehmeyer. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and loved them very dearly. Carolyn had a caring soul and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, William “Bill” Wright.
She is survived by her sons, Johnny Lynn Wright and wife Cindy of Lumberton, and Mark Wright and wife Cathy of Lumberton; daughter, Susanne Lewis of Groves; grandchildren, Melissa Wright, Megan Thompson, Chris Thompson, Candice Boykin and husband Adam, William Wright and wife Marissa, Mark Wright, Jr., Miranda Crochet and husband Jason, and Marlee Lewis; 11-great-grandchildren; as well as other loving family and friends.
Cremation is under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home of Groves, Texas.
