Deanna "DeeDee" Marie Hebert Taubert

Deanna "DeeDee" Marie Hebert Taubert passed away in the peaceful beauty of her home in Port Neches at the age of 82. She died of natural causes.
Deanna was born on August 6, 1938 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Blanche and Aliar Hebert. She grew up in Louisiana surrounded with love and blessings of family and friends.
In 1948, the family moved to Texas. It is here where she met her lifelong husband, Albert. They settled in Port Neches and began their family.
Deanna was a devoted Wife and Mother who patiently raised three children. While raising her children, she also devoted time to Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church where she served on the Altar Society and Bereavement Committee.
Deanna exuded warmth and kindness, and to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, she was a source of pure and unconditional love.
Deanna is preceded in death by her parents, Aliar and Blanche and daughter, Mary Diane Smithy.
She is survived by her husband, Albert of Port Neches; daughter, Cindy Heckaman and husband Alton of Kingwood; son, Glenn Taubert and wife Kelly of Port Neches; three sisters, Beverly Guthrie and husband Sonny of Groves; Anita Garcia and husband Gilbert of Port Arthur; and Debbie Martin and husband Ricky of Porter, Texas.
Her grandchildren include: Aaron Heckaman and wife Emily; Ryan Taubert and wife Primrose; Bailey Taubert Wommack and husband Spencer; and Emily Taubert.
Great grandchildren: Evan, Kaitlyn, and Avery Heckaman and Eli Taubert and many nieces and nephews..
A visitation for family and friends will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with a rosary service to begin at 11:00 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 noon at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
