Eugene Malcolm Chance, 87, of Groves, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in Groves.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on February 26, 1934, he was the son of Kanalous Ray Chance and Elsie Mae Carrier Chance. Eugene was a lifelong area resident. He proudly served his country in United States Navy, during the Korean conflict, over Admiral Detail. He worked for Nautilus Fitness Center. He retired after 25 years of service from Dupont as a supervisor in the Hypalon Department.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Lucile Chance of Groves, daughter, Cheryl Gaye Evans and husband Jimmy of Nederland, son, Gene Ray Chance of Groves, brother, Randy Chance and wife Nellie of Port Acres and 9 grandchildren.
Cremation under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Groves.
