Fred "Van" Wolford, 86 of Houston, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
Van was born September 23, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas to Waldo Wolford and Ann Vanderwerth Wolford. He was a former resident of Port Arthur before moving to Houston 49 years ago.
Van was a member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Houston and a retired from IBM as an Industry Specialist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Bernice Fortune Wolford.
Survivors include his daughters, Cynthia Sumner and husband John of Sheldon, IL, and Cheryl Wolford of Lufkin; grandchildren, Spencer Sumner, Shelby Sumner, and John Ross Sumner.
A private graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
