Gayle Paul Cormier

Gayle Paul Cormier, 80, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.

Gayle was born October 20, 1940 in Port Neches, Texas to Joseph C.P. Cormier and Vivian Quebedeaux Cormier. He was a lifelong resident of Port Neches and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

He retired from Pipefitters Local 195 with 30 plus years of service.

Gayle loved cars and enjoyed showing his 1981 Camaro at local area car shows. He had many through the years, but his 1964 Chevy Truck was the one that had his heart.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Jim McClintock officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gayle was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Joseph Cormier.

Surviving relatives include his daughter, Darla Raines and husband Ramon of Port Neches, Texas; son, Dean Cormier and wife Hannah of Lumberton, Texas; sister-in-law, Diane Cormier of Port Neches, Texas; grandchildren, Carson Raines and wife Morgan of Port Neches, Texas and Jude Cormier of Lumberton, Texas; nephews, Troy Cormier and Chris Cormier both of Port Neches, Texas; and his many friends.

The family would like to thank his loved and dedicated caregiver of many years, Robyn for everything she did for our Dad. We would also like to thank his friend Tony and the Neighbors of 13th Street.
