Gertrude "Gert" Louise Reeves

Gertrude "Gert" Louise Reeves, 91, of Groves, Texas passed away peacefully at home Sunday, February 14, 2021.
She was born January 14, 1930 in Port Arthur, Texas and was a lifelong resident until moving to Kirbyville forty years ago.
Gertrude retired as office staff manager and receptionist after twenty five years for Dr. Giblin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Ruth Griffiths, Sr., Walter and Marion Clinard, husband, Raymond J. Reeves, brother, Bert Griffiths, Jr. and grandson, Kael Reeves.
Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Cindy and husband Dr. Francisco del Valle, sons, Michael and wife Cyndy Reeves, Kenneth and wife Debbie Reeves, Patrick Reeves, and Harold Reeves, brother, Richard Griffiths, sister, Sandy Trew and husband Phillip. Gertrude was blessed with eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren who gave her joy all throughout her lifetime.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, Texas with family and friends.
