Gloria Mae Babin, 82 of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.
Gloria was born August 9, 1938 to Joseph Carrie Winstead and Juanita Wright Winstead. She was a lifelong area resident, homemaker and member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Groves.
Gloria was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Lane Haynes; and brother, Ronnie Joe Winstead.
Survivors include her husband, James Donald Babin of Groves; son, Steve Babin of Georgia; brother, Paul Winstead and wife Nga Tran of Silsbee; grandchildren, Lanna Scroggins, Alisa LeBlanc, and Deanna Haynes; great-grandchildren, Elias, Eleyna, Matias, Avia, Luke, Keyli, Timothy, Keorey, and Nadia; niece, Kimberly Winstead; and nephews, Stephen Paul Winstead, Timothy Lee Winstead, and Anthony Phu Qui Winstead.
A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Kenneth Greig officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas.
