Linda Jo Gamez

Linda Jo Gamez, 68, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, Texas. Linda was born December 31, 1950 in Silsbee, Texas and was a resident of Port Arthur for 30 years. She retired from Port Arthur ISD as a teachers aid after 12 years of service. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Jose Gamez of Port Arthur; three daughters, Belinda Cruz of Tennessee, Nicole Myers of Pennsylvania, and Ashley Sanchez of Lufkin; three sons, Alex Dixon of Pennsylvania, Andrew Gamez of Port Arthur, and Brandon Gamez of Port Arthur; two brothers, Richard Ener of Center, and Ronnie Ener of Beaumont; and nine grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Val Verde Baptist Church in Groves followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Nick Dignan officiating.
