Mrs. Mildred Marie Spears

March 11, 1944 - April 7, 2022

Mildred Marie Spears, 78, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Officiating will be Reverend Tommy Meekins. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on March 11, 1944, she was the daughter of Dudley Simon and Isabelle Roy Simon. Mildred was a 50 year resident of Port Neches and a retired Bookkeeper for Robert Barron Attorney at Law in Nederland. She loved to dance, play cards and Bingo, and loved listening to Wayne Toups Cajun music. Mildred enjoyed going RVing and fishing at Toledo Bend Lake with family and friends. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, which were her heart. Her favorite foods were BBQ Crabs and a Good Crawfish Boil. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bennie Earl Spears; son, Robert Spears; grandson, Bryce LeJune; and sister, Verlyn Champagne. She is survived by her husband, Delbert LeJune of Port Neches, Texas; daughters, Brenda Arnaud Hamilton and husband Clay of Orange, Texas and Kathy Meekins and husband Mitchell of Baytown, Texas; step-son, Bubba LeJune and wife Paula of Fannett, Texas; step-daughter, Renee Thibodeaux and husband Laine of Lafayette, Louisiana; and step-son, Coby LeJune of Port Neches, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and her beloved Weenie Dog, Missy. Serving as pallbearers will be Bubba LeJune, Coby LeJune, Konner Arnaud, Justin Orta, Jacob Orta, and Laine Thibodeaux.
