Verla Mae Adams

Verla Mae Adams, 94, of Lumberton, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
She was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Ruth Beavers Valentine and Cornelious Nealie Valentine.
Verla lived in the Groves/Mid County area for 34 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Groves.
She was retired from Neches Federal Credit Union as a Vice President after over 50 years of service.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with burial to follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
Verla was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, E.V. "Buddy" Adams.
Verla is survived by her son, Randy Adams and wife Tina of Lumberton, Texas, brother, Nealie Valentine and wife Joy of Bossier City, Louisiana, two grandchildren, Buddy Adams and wife Staci and Lindsey Adams and fiance' Hunter Donnelly, and one great granddaughter, Audri Adams.
