Virginia Moore, 91, of Groves, Texas passed away, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born April 24, 1929 in Port Arthur, Texas to Dudley Benton and Lucy Connor Benton. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Groves Order of Eastern Star Chapter 953.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William "Bill" Moore; and son, Larry Moore.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Broussard of Groves; sons, Gary Moore and wife Martha of Groves, and David Moore and wife Jody of Port Neches; sisters, Betty Jane Gomez of Georgetown, and Nancy Gates of Silsbee; brother, Thomas Benton of Groves; grandchildren, Shane Warr, Shelly Chapman, Troy Warr, Billy Powell, Tina Judalet; and great-grandchildren, Avery Judalet, Jeremy Chapman, Lexie Chapman, and Draven Tietjens.
A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 21, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Jason Richards officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
